Doctors. We love them, we hate them, and most of all we need them. 

The medical profession, especially in the United States, can be quite an enigma. Becoming a doctor is one of the hardest things to do with your career, and as a result, they are well-paid and respected. That's understandable too, considering the crucial role they play in society. But the next time you show up to your 3:00 appointment at 2:45 only for a nurse to see you at 3:48, take your temperature and pressure, tell you you're fine, and charge you $860 because she was out of your insurance network, you might form a different opinion. 

With their sloppy handwriting, dad jokes, and inconsistent bedside manner, good doctors are quite literally lifesavers, and bad doctors are the opposite.
